After my recent purchase and review of Wet 'n Wild's Comfort Zone Palette, I was so impressed that I waited a shamefully brief amount of time before running back to the drugstore. I was in town early one morning and decided to try my luck with the forever almost bare Wet 'n Wild stand and through some stroke of luck I walked in on the morning that everything had been restocked - the excitement was very real. Needless to say, I took the opportunity to snatch up a few products that I hadn't managed to find the first time.

Whilst there were a fair few lipstick shades left on my first visit, all the more nude, everyday shades were gone. I went for the Mega Last Lipsticks, which are a matte formula. First I picked up a browny-neutral called Sand Storm which has a fairly warm undertone and bears a resemblance to MAC's Chicory lip liner. After reading a Wet n' Wild haul post on my fellow Zurich beauty blogger Iliascupoftea's blog, I had my eye on the shade Bare It All, a gorgeous nude which is also slightly brown but much lighter than Sand Storm. Finally, I picked up Coral-ine, a bright pinky orange shade. I would normally never gravitate towards such a bright coral shade, but something about the colour pushed me to give it a go. I haven't tried these lipsticks enough to give you a proper opinion but there's a review on the way so stay tuned!

Now, when I walked over to the Wet 'n Wild stand there was one product I immediately looked for, the Walking on Eggshells palette. This is the product I've heard the most about from the range and I was more excited than I'm willing to admit to grab it. It features three neutral shades to create a lovely everyday eye look and is a palette I've been reaching for a lot lately! The single eyeshadow I picked up is in the shade Nutty. I grabbed this for lack of a better choice, because the single eyeshadows were the only things that hadn't been completely restocked. This was the only neutral pick in a sea of glitters and some purple offerings. It looked like your bog-standard greyish taupe and it wasn't until I got home and swatched it that I saw what a gorgeous colour it is. It's a lot warmer than it looks in the pan and is one I'll be using a lot!

I really wanted to try a blusher from the range so I opted for the shade Berry Shimmer. The first time I applied this I really underestimated the pigmentation and ended up looking very flushed. So whilst that's definitely a sign of a good blusher, use a light hand! I also picked up one of the lip liners in the shade Chestnut, which is a warm-toned browny red. I normally err on the side of caution when it comes to using drugstore lip liners, because they can be dry and really pull on the lips. That wasn't the case at all with this, it's a soft pencil with good staying power.

The last thing I picked up was one of their Megalast nail polishes in the shade Haze of Love. This looked like a dark browny red with some pinkness in it when I looked at it in the bottle, but on the nails it's more of an oxblood colour. A very autumnal shade, I know, but with September right around the corner I'm ready to pack in the pastels for this year. I've only used this once so far but it lasted well without chipping for about four days, which is a long time for me!

Those are all the things I picked up on my recent Wet 'n Wild spree - can you tell I'm slightly obsessed? I have yet to try anything from this range that I don't like and a lot of these products are fast becoming everyday staples. I'll try to reign it in with the Wet 'n Wild scavenging - but I can't promise anything!
