February 2016 Beauty Favourites

February 2015 Beauty Favourites, monthly favourites, nail polish, lipstick, lipgloss, foundation, hm, hm beauty, bourjois, garnier, becca, catrice, clarins, review, makeup, beauty

Happy Monday! I'm hitting you with a favourites post today and chatting about the best in beauty from the month of February! First and foremost, can we just talk about how it's March tomorrow? How did this happen? We're almost quarter of the way through this year and it's kind of blowing my mind. Clich├ęd ramble aside, I feel like February has been a really good month for me in terms of finding some new (and old) favourites. I've bought a few bits here and there and also had a thorough rootle through my stash so I've had plenty of things to rotate into my makeup routine. Here's what I've been loving this month!

Garnier Miracle Skin Cream // This is most definitely an old favourite of mine and a pretty consistent fixture in my spring and summer base routine. These last few months my skin has just been so dry and applying this underneath my foundation just gives everything such a nice natural glow. Definitely one worth checking out if you're a dry skinned gal like me!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation // It took me a little while to warm to this foundation but now I'm using it almost every day! Like the Garnier, it's a great one if you have drier skin because it's fairly moisturising and light in texture, meaning the finish is on the dewier side. It's super affordable too, so I'm very impressed indeed!

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfecter 02 // This is another old favourite that I've cracked out this last month. I seem to have been doing a lot on my eyes recently and keeping my lips a bit more natural. This is a great product for that, because it just imparts the slightest bit of tint and sheen whilst also being super moisturising. The perfect throw-in-your-bag and go product!

Catrice Luminous Lips Lipstick in Coffee & Cream // This one has been on the blog before and it's another product I've been loving to add a bit of something to the lips when you're playing up your eyes or another part of your makeup. These lipsticks are so super affordable and really moisturising. The finish is on the glossier side which is normally not something I'm into in a lipstick but this is one that's really grown on me - so pretty and well worth a try!

Becca Beach Tint in Raspberry // If I'm honest, this really wasn't a product I was expecting to love. I got it as a gift with purchase and picked it on a whim because I thought it looked like a pretty colour. I've mentioned this before, but usually cheek and lip products perform well on either or, not both. This is one of the only exceptions I've found to that rule! The formula of this blends beautifully on the cheeks, leaving a lovely rosy glow, whilst also acting as a gorgeous berry stain on the lips. I've been using this on "no-makeup-makeup" days as a multi-purpose product and I love it! Definitely one I'll be using a lot during Spring!

H&M Beauty Eye Shadow in Paradise Lost // I have been absolutely obsessed with this eyeshadow all month! This is a glitter shade from the H&M Beauty eyeshadow range and it's such a gorgeous colour. I apply this using a damp eyeshadow brush, which just gives it the most beautiful foiled finish. It's by far one of my favourite shades from the whole range and I highly recommend giving it a swatch in store!

H&M Beauty Nail Polish in Bordeaux // Although I'm currently gravitating towards more spring-ish shades I wore this polish on and off pretty much all month. It's just such a great dark red that looks both classy and cool and lasts pretty darn well too! It's often sold out online, but they tend to have it in stock in H&M stores!

So there we go, all the beauty bits I've been loving throughout February! These are some of my favourite posts to both read and write! I'm also super excited to be going into spring now, I'm a huge fan of winter but I'm very ready for all the spring colours and new collections! What have you been loving this last month?
