My Top 5 Soap & Glory Products

Top 5 Soap & Glory Products, best soap and glory products, hand food, sugar crush body buttercream, scrub em and leave em, peach party, archery brow pencil, review

I have been a massive Soap & Glory fangirl since I was about 14. I grew up in the UK and you could routinely find me stalking the isles of Boots, basket full of makeup. In fact, when I had friends over they knew that the regular drill would be a twenty minute long traipse through Boots with me chatting away about all the new releases - the beauty obsession goes way back! Now I'm 22 and still loyal as anything to the brand; a quick rifle through my drawers and you'll come up with a good handful of the pretty pink products. It's also one of the only brands I pick something up from every time I'm in the UK without fail. In light of that, I thought I'd show you five of my favourite Soap & Glory products today and share why I love them!

As I'm sure you know, Soap & Glory are kind of ace at body care. They do shower gels and moisturisers like no other and the scents are just about the most amazing smells ever. My favourite scent of any product I've ever tried - nice bold sweeping statement there - is the Sugar Crush scent, which is why I've been enamoured with the Sugar Crush Body Buttercream for a good few years now. I don't even know how many of these I've gone through, but I can guarantee that there's been a lot! Aside from this smelling absolutely heavenly - a very fresh yet super sweet scent - it's also a stellar moisturiser. I love using this in the summer as it leaves my legs looking super smooth and I basically smell great all day. They now also have a Sugar Crush Antibacterial Hand Gel which I'll be buying as soon as I'm next in the UK!

Another amazing body care item are the scrubs in this range, in particular the Scrub 'em and Leave 'em Body Buff. I have to admit that I'm really not much of a connoisseur in terms of body scrubs, I was always a bit wary of the fact that they might irritate my super dry skin. This, however, has done none of that and it does a great job at exfoliating without stripping the skin. I'm currently using a mini one, which means that I can pop this in my bag whenever I go away. Very handy indeed.

I think I may have to crown this the ultimate Soap & Glory product for me. The Hand Food hand cream may well be the first product I ever purchased from this brand and I've kept repurchasing it for 8 years. Eight years! This is fragranced with the classic Soap & Glory scent, which I'm honestly not even going to bother trying to describe because I'm a right wally in terms of breaking down scents. Basically it smells really good! This is without a doubt the best hand cream I've ever used. I've used cheaper ones and more expensive ones but this is the only hand cream I've ever repurchased. I absolutely hate my hands feeling greasy, which is why I love that this sinks in so quickly and leaves your hands so amazingly soft. Love. This has also been released in the Sugar Crush scent so you can bet good money on me picking that up very soon too!

(I also have two friends from uni in Switzerland who borrowed my Hand Food from me during a lecture once. They loved it so much that they wouldn't stop talking about it for the majority of said lecture. I now buy this hand cream in bulk and bring it back for them every time I go to the UK. So basically this hand cream is serious business. Transcending borders and whatnot.)

So not only do Soap & Glory rock the body care game, but they also make some pretty amazing makeup. (I'm acutely aware that this is beginning to sound like a sponsored post, it's not, I just feel very strongly about Soap & Glory). I got the Peach Party Juicy Multi-Colour Blush Brick on my most recent trip to the UK in September after hearing amazing things about it. This is just one of those products that's absolutely amazing during the warmer months. I haven't used this anywhere near enough because I've been saving it for summer but this definitely has that wow-I'm-so-tanned effect once applied and really has the whole sun-kissed thing down.

You may have noticed that I've now made my way through all the products I've photographed, but that there have only been four so far and not five. That is because I can't photograph my last favourite product because I don't have it anymore because I can't get my hands on it. I apologise if you read my blog often because you must've seen me complain about this for weeks now, but I absolutely love the Archery Brow Pencil. I use this in the shade Blondeshell, which is the best colour match for my brows I've ever found and as I'm sure you know, finding a good brow colour match in the drugstore can be a struggle! The quality of this pencil is unmatched by any other I've tried thus far, it's waxy, pigmented and lasts all day. I'm currently using a far more expensive one until I can repurchase this one but to be honest, I much prefer the Soap & Glory offering. If you're after a drugstore priced brow pencil that really does a great job, give this one a try! I highly, highly recommend it!

Well that was a fangirly rant if I've ever seen one! If you're new to Soap & Glory as a brand and you were wondering where to start, I hope this has been helpful! There are so many amazing products in this line and I'm definitely looking forward to trying some more once I'm finally back in the UK again! For now I shall be rationing out my Soap & Glory bounty and planning a UK-bound holiday!

What are some of your favourites from Soap & Glory? Any other products I absolutely have to try? Let me know!
