Spring Pinks

There may well still be snow outside but the sun is out, so as far as I'm concerned, spring is right around the corner! With it being March, I've made a beeline for all things bright and pink has been a bit of a recurring theme in my beauty choices lately. Today I've picked out five spring pinks, both bold and otherwise, that I'm rotating into my beauty routine and sharing the details on why they're such great products!

Essie Nail Polish in Watermelon // Let's kick things off with a classic, shall we? This is an Essie shade that a lot of people have in their collections and it's one I always crack out around this time of year. I'd say this colour is best described as a mix between a pink and a red, but to me it definitely leans more to the pink side of things. This looks gorgeous on the nails and has great longevity. To top it all off this is also a one coat wonder, which definitely comes in handy on days when you just don't have time for that second coat!

Wet 'n Wild Megalast Lip Color in Coral-ine // I haven't used this shade anywhere near enough yet, which is why it's gone back into my makeup rotation. Just look at that shade! This is a bright pinky coral that looks super flattering with glowy, bronzed skin. I love the formula of these lipsticks, they have a demi-matte finish and they're super pigmented, plus they'll only set back about $3 so definitely well worth a try!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo // This is more of a muted pink and it's definitely not as bright as some of the others in here but super pretty nonetheless. If you've never tried one of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams, I can't recommend them enough! The formula is unlike any I've tried from the drugstore before; super creamy coupled with a matte finish and some very decent lasting power! A super wearable daytime spring pink - all the adjectives!

Chanel Le Blush Crème de Chanel in Intonation (67 Chamade is similar) // Alright, so I'm kind of dangling the carrot here because this was part of Chanel's spring Collection a year or so ago and to my knowledge you can't buy this anymore - sorry! I've linked one that's a similar shade and to be honest, you can't really go wrong with these cream blushers. Yes, they are super luxury but you seriously get your money's worth - these do a fab job! This blush is so richly pigmented, blends out like a dream and lasts all day.

Sleek Crème to Powder Blush in French Rose // I picked this up on a UK trip a little while back, around the time when these had just been released. Sleek is kind of my go-to when it comes to drugstore blushes, they kill it both with their shade range and formulas. This is one of those cream blushes that has a powder finish (as the name suggests) but still leaves everything looking very natural. I was immediately drawn to this colour when I first saw it because it's such a pretty rose shade. Not too bright, but definitely something that's going to give you that rosy glow. An all round lovely product!

I hope I'm not the only one going crazy for pinks now that the sun has routinely started peeking out here and there! I'm currently daydreaming about going out and getting NARS Schiap, this pink thing is getting serious! What are some of your favourite pink products?
