Foreo Luna Mini Review

Foreo Luna MIni Review, facial cleansing brush, foreo luna mini worth the money, skincare, review

The Foreo Luna Mini is a little machine that I've had in my skincare routine for years now. Despite being something I reach for almost daily, I've never so much as mentioned it on the blog! Today I thought I'd share my thoughts on the Foreo Luna Mini and let you know whether or not it's worth the splurge!

The Foreo Luna Mini is essentially a facial cleansing device that you use to work in your cleanser. It's teeny tiny, smaller than the palm of my hand, and is encased in silicone. The unique selling point of this is that it has T-Sonic pulsations coupled with soft silicone brush bristles. Foreo states that "this combination gently removes dead skin cells and makeup residue, and unclogs pores of 99.5% of dirt and oil, enhancing the absorption of your other skincare products". Bold statements all round, but does it actually work?

I remember I was first intrigued by the Foreo Luna Mini after I heard a YouTuber claim that this only takes 3 days for you to see a visible difference in your skin. I was skeptical at best but when I received it as a gift from my parents (after some not-so-subtle hinting) I put it straight to the test. The device has a little button at the front, which when you press, switches on the vibration. There are two settings, one slightly higher vibration setting and one lower. The device also has pulses during use at regular intervals that indicate when you should switch to a different section of your face, which I find very helpful!

As mentioned, the Foreo Luna Mini is encased in silicone, and because it's waterproof it means it's seriously easy to wash. I tend to grab a bit of soap and massage it into the bristles under some warm water to make sure there's no cleanser residue in the bristles. There's also a small charging hole at the back for the charger, but I don't think I've charged mine in about six months, the battery life is absolutely amazing!

The first thing I realise when I use this is that my skin is left feeling super duper soft. I also do feel like I get more out of my skincare products because they sink in better. As an added bonus, makeup applies so much more evenly after I use the Foreo in the morning, because everything's so soft and smooth. Something I'm also convinced of is that when I use this regularly, day and night for a few days, I see a reduction in my pore size. I do think that this is something Foreo claims as well, but it definitely wasn't something I expected. Nonetheless, regular use of this really helps the overall texture of my skin!

So now that I've waxed lyrical about this, what's the downside? Without a doubt the price is something that requires some deliberation. As someone who's owned and used the Foreo Luna Mini for years, I can say that it still works as well today as it did when I first got it. My skin is always so much better when I take an extra minute to use this in the morning and evening, plus it's like getting a mini facial massage, which I'm totally on board with!

I hope this has been helpful if you've been on the fence about investing in the Foreo Luna Mini. I'm clearly an avid fan and I can only recommend it! Have you tried any cleansing devices?

N.B. This is not in any way a sponsored post, I just really like this device!
