My Most Used Palettes

As I'm sure many of you will know, owning a lot of makeup oftentimes means you don't use a fair few products anywhere near enough. In my overflowing beauty drawers it's easy to overlook bits and although I switch things up regularly, I tend to find myself going back to certain products again and again. Today I thought I'd share the palettes that I find myself reaching for on a very regular basis and that have become staples in my makeup routine, as well as why I love them!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette - I've spoken about this palette more than enough since buying it, but as it's quickly made it's way into the "most used eyeshadow palette" category, I thought it deserved another mention. This is just such a standout palette in my collection; it's full of bolds but there's also a fair new neutral shades tucked away in there and it works well for both day and night. The shadows are excellent quality and the packaging is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette - I know this doesn't look like the most exciting palette, but if you just want all your essential shades in one place, this is a great one to have. I use a mixture of Naked 2 and Faint for my brows if I'm using powder and they both work really well as they aren't too warm-toned. I use the shades Foxy and W.O.S as lid shades to set my primer and to help with blending. Venus is a lovely browbone and inner-corner highlight and Blackout is a great, pigmented black shade that you can use for lining and smoking things out. Super versatile with the usual stellar quality from Urban Decay. Love.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette - Okay, I know this is annoying because this palette was limited edition, but Hourglass release so many new palettes that you're bound to find one you like. These powders are just unbeatable in my opinion. I always need to set my foundation, but I hate the look of a completely matte, flat complexion, so these setting powders are some of my absolute favourites. I've also used both blush shades so much over the last few months. All the powders are pigmented, last well and give you a lovely glow. I'd definitely recommend giving some of their other palettes a go!

MAC Quad - Even though I own so many other eyeshadow palettes, I always go back to the MAC quad I built myself. I have the shades Blackberry, Cranberry, Woodwinked and All That Glitters in there and whilst the former two may not get used as much as the latter two, this is still a palette I reach for very often. All That Glitters in particular is one of those shades that I use when I don't really know what to do with my eye makeup. A great mix of neutrals and bolder shades that is actually very versatile!

So there you have it, the palettes I've used the most. All four are fab quality and have most definitely been worth the purchase. What are some of your most used palettes?
