Colourpop Fall Edit | Haul & Swatches

Woo, Friday! I'm rolling at you with a haul today, from none other than Colourpop. Did anyone else see their free international shipping promo after a glass of wine and promptly spend over $50? I certainly did. No regrets here, though! I mainly picked some bits from their Fall Edit, which is ridiculously beautiful, but I also threw in a few other things, so I'm just going to haul it all here! A bit of a hefty one, but I'll try to keep it brief!

Super Shock Shadows

I'm obsessed with these. Straight up besotted. They're by far one of my favourite eyeshadow formulas and they glide onto the lid like nothing else. I got four shades and try as I might, I just couldn't not try out the beautiful taupey shade before blog photography (sorry!). Brady is the gorgeous taupe shade in question, which is just the ideal all-over lid shade. Next up is Elixir, a beautiful warm orange shade that really compliments blue eyes and looks lovely with a nude lip. I'm a sucker for burgundy eyeshadow, so Paradox was my next pick, which I think will be gorgeous for creating a smoky autumnal eye. Last, but certainly not least, we have Muse, a copper rose gold shade that I've already used a whole lot.

Blush

As soon as I saw Bardot on the website, I was sold. This is just such a lovely autumnal blush, and we all know how much I love autumn. I have yet to use this, but if the swatches are anything to go by, we're definitely on to a winner!

First five swatches (l-r): Brady, Elixir, Muse, Paradox and Bardot.

Ultra Matte Lip

These lipsticks are some of my favourite formulas for matte lips. Yes, they're drying but they'll stay on your lips pretty much all day without budging. I saw Mama on Instagram and was immediately sold by the burnt orange shade. It's pigmented as anything and just super-autumn appropriate. Notion is a shade I wouldn't usually have the guts to wear as it's so deep and vampy, but I barely own any dark liquid lipsticks so I thought I'd take the plunge. I have yet to try it but it's such a gorgeous shade.

Ultra Satin Lip

This is another one of Colourpop's formulas I love. The lipsticks are matte, but don't dry down completely, which means they do still transfer a bit, but aren't as drying. When I was perusing the Fall Edit online, Gypsy (the name has since been changed to Calypso) stood out to me as it's such a pretty nude. Frick N' Frack is pretty similar, but I'd heard so much about it online that I had to give it a try. It's a pinky-brown nude shade, which is very much my thing, and from swatching it so far, I think it'll be a lovely one with warm-toned shadows.

Last four swatches (l-r): Mama, Notion, Gypsy (/Calypso) and Frick N' Frack.

So there we have it, the lowdown on my pretty extensive Colourpop haul. Apologies if the swatches aren't great, I was trying something new and I'm not entirely sure if it was a good idea. Feedback is very much welcomed! Are you going to buy any of the Fall Edit? What're some of your favourite Colourpop bits? Have a lovely weekend and happy Friday!

Don't forget to follow along!

  1. Your swatches look sooo beautiful! I haven't bought too many colourpop things so I totally need to try their eyeshadows. Muse in particular looks so beautiful!
