Travel Makeup Bag | London

Hello from London! I've been here for a few days now, been rained on a lot and spent a lot of money in a very brief period. In other words, I'm loving it! It's so nice to be back for a while, even if the weather isn't quite amazing. As tends to be the case when I leave for even one night, I have to decide which makeup to bring with me. It's always a struggle and I always bring too much, but this time I'm actually pretty proud! Yes, I'm away for literally a long weekend, but this is still pretty streamlined for me! Either way, today, I thought I'd run you through the contents of my travel makeup bag! I'll try my best to keep this somewhat ramble-free!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - This has been my go-to foundation for a while now. It's lightweight, has a good amount of coverage and doesn't emphasise dryness. I'm in between two shades, but I can make both work for me, so I only brought along one!

Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer - I've been using this for ages now and it's probably one of the best concealers I've tried from the drugstore. I struggle with my under-eye concealer creasing and this is one of the only ones that doesn't crease quite as badly. You can also use it on blemishes, so you don't have the faff of two separate concealers.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot - (Not pictured). This is pretty much the only setting powder I've used consistently since getting it in May/June. It's absolutely lovely and if you're careful not to overload the brush, you can easily use it without it going cakey. Super inexpensive too!

H&M Beauty Powder Blush in Pale Pink - Sonja brought another H&M blush with her abroad. Groundbreaking. Yes, I harp on about these a lot, but they really are fab: ergo they go with me on holiday. This is a lovely pale pink shade that looks gorgeous with simple makeup.

Colourpop Blush in Bardot - I'm obsessed with this blush. I don't remember having loved a blusher this much in years (she says after going on about the H&M blushers). This is a bit harder to get ahold of but it's so, so worth it. The shade is gorgeous and it's one of the most long lasting blushers I have. All for the grand total of $8!

Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette - I think we all know how pretty this palette is - I mean, just look at it! I won't go on, because I'm assuming you've all read me declaring my love to this palette numerous times. It contains pretty much all you need for your highlighting wardrobe and then some.

Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Bronzed - One of my favourite bronzers. This leaves you looking healthy and glowy without any of that orange mess. It is a fairly warm-toned bronzer, but I quite like that on my skin tone. Pigmented and lasts well, thumbs up emoji.

Urban Decay Brow Beater in Taupe - Another one I won't go on about. I've spoken about this so many times on the blog: I love it, it's foolproof and it's expensive - boo!

L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper - This one too: spoken about it way too many times on here anyway: pretty much a ride or die product for me and very inexpensive - yay!

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly - By far the best eyeshadow primer I've used. This practically glues your eyeshadow to your lids and really makes the colours look pretty too. If I'm having a no-makeup-makeup day, I just use a bit of this on my lids to even out the colour. Also looks great worn alone, paired with a bold lip and lashings of mascara!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette - Another one I'm obsessed with. I mean, the packaging is velvet, that alone hints towards the fact that I'm enamoured with it. The shades in here are pretty much the epitome of autumn and I've been loving using the warm tones on my lids to create daytime and more dramatic evening looks.

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eye Palette in Dolce Vita - (Not pictured). I haven't used this little quad anywhere near enough (especially considering how pricey it was). I used this yesterday and got compliments right away. It's such a gorgeous edit of shadows and the warm red shade and the glitter shade are just absolute stunners. Shadow quality is amazing and the shades are versatile. Expensive but a great purchase.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara - I'm slowly but surely reaching the end of this little baby sample and I should really purchase another one of these (preferably full sized this time) whilst I'm in the UK. But expensive! I really like this mascara, it lengthens and gives my lashes volume. I also really like the brush as it does a great job of getting to the individual lashes and leaving them looking separated and fluttery.

Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in Frick n' Frack - (This is currently on sale!). This is such a gorgeous warm terracotta shade, which I don't usually love on my complexion, but for some reason this colour is really flattering. It's an Ultra Satin Lip, which is miles less drying than the Ultra Matte Lips. A great buy for $6!

NYX Vinyl Liquid Suede in Sandstorm - I spent so long trying to find this in Zurich. It's a greigey-brown shade and it's the typical kind of colour I gravitate towards. Very grungey but also an all-round cool shade to add a little something to a makeup look. I really like the formula of these, they're pretty matte, but don't dry down properly and therefore aren't as drying. I've also worn just a tiny bit of this, blended in over some lip balm and it ends up looking like a lovely nude. Very pretty indeed!

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bond Girl - Another one from Charlotte Tilbury! She just really knows how to make gorgeous packaging, doesn't she? This is another thing I got in May/June, the last time I was in the UK, and it's one of my favourite lipsticks. I wouldn't even say it's one I use super regularly, but when I do use it, I'm always so impressed by the colour, pigmentation and the formula. It's a pricey pick but it's absolutely lovely!

Right, that was a pretty long post from me today! I did keep the rambling to a minimum, though (at least I tried!). Do you use any of these products? What are some beauty bits I should have a look at before I leave London? If you have any recommendations (ahem, Charlotte Tilbury), please let me know below!
