Peachy Beauty to get you through Winter

Let's be honest, it feels like winter is dragging a little. I've pretty much had it with the snow, dry skin and near-constant chills and I'm ready for the first signs of Spring to start poking through. Despite the fact that we still have February to go, I'm a little over the wintery hues and already rifling through my drawers, reaching for the pastels and peaches. If you, like me, are looking a little beyond winter at the moment, here are some peachy products that'll thaw through the ice and re-inject the warmth into your makeup wardrobe!

Wet 'n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals - If you buy one highlighter from the drugstore, let it be this one. It is the most affordable and one of the most beautiful highlighters I own! The colour of this is a beautiful peachy champagne shade and looks super flattering on the skin. It's not overly shimmery so it won't leave you looking like a disco ball and the formula is pigmented, buttery and blendable. If you fancy some peachiness atop your cheekbones, give this a try!

H&M Beauty Powder Blush in Tawny Peach - I've waxed lyrical about these blushers so many times on the blog and given that this one even has peach in the name, I had to throw it in here. If you're a peach enthusiast, but want to keep things somewhat muted, this brown-infused peach will give you the flush you want, without taking away from the makeup you've already got going on. This also isn't so pigmented that you have to be super cautious when applying it. You can dip your brush into here, tap off the excess and apply it without immediately looking like you walked into a pole with half your face. What a bonus!

H&M Beauty Creamy Lipstick in Seashell - If you're into browny nudes, but you're looking for something with just a tad more warmth to it, this is a great shade. The formula is super creamy and pigmented, one swipe will give you opaque coverage. As it is a cream lipstick, it won't stick around all day without reapplication, but the lasting power is very impressive considering how moisturising it feels! I personally also think H&M does a great job of making slightly cheaper, plastic packaging somehow look fairly chic. Not a bad one to keep in your handbag!

Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Barely There - I'll admit it: I mainly bought this because it looked so teensy tiny and cute. Once I got over how dinky it is, it won me over with the lovely formula. Much like the H&M lipstick, it's very creamy and feels hydrating on the lips. The colour is pretty similar to Seashell, but is more peachy and less brown. It's a lovely one for no-makeup-makeup days, when you want a little something on your lips, but nothing too high-maintenence.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Kennedy - For those of you that really want the full on, orangey-peach vibe, this eyeshadow certainly gives you that. This is very much a pastel peach and one that I wouldn't classify as a neutral per se. It took me a while to fully get on board with this colour, but I think it'd look lovely incorporated into a warm-brown eye makeup look. As tends to be the case with this shadow formula, it's super soft, pigmented and blends out gorgeously.

So there we have it, a few warm hues to get us through the rest of winter! Hopefully February will be the month I stop splurging on makeup, start eating healthy and finally realise that trousers that graze my ankles combined with trainers are not appropriate attire for -9°C weather. Maybe. Probably not.

Don't forget to follow along!
