I put up a post like this fairly recently and it went down
pretty well, so here I am writing another! I try a lot of makeup as it is but
after last month being a bit of a slow one, I definitely have a fair few
newbies to try in April. Here are three I'm currently road-testing!
NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer - You've probably heard everyone
and their mother going on about this concealer. I was sent one a little while
back but it was too dark for me to use. I spotted this at a beauty sale I
attended and decided to just blindly buy this shade. It's still a little too
dark for me, but I think I can make it work in the summer, as long as I use it
solely to cover blemishes. The texture is creamy and blendable and it seems to
have fantastic coverage. Will keep you posted!
KIKO Radiant Fusion Baked Powder - When my trusty Soap &a Glory One Heck of a
Blot hit pan so hard it shattered, I put off buying a new powder. I'm lazy and
also hate repurchasing "boring" makeup like face powder (I'm a brat,
I know) so I picked this up on a whim and just kind of went with it. It doesn't
seem to add too much coverage, which I'm definitely happy about and it's been
doing a pretty good job as a setting powder. I'll continue to use it to give
you a more precise review but so far, so good!
By Terry Glow-Expert Duo Stick - Another impulse buy because
it was pretty and shimmery. Obviously I'm a strategic shopper. So this is
marketed as a highlighter, bronzer and blush in one, inspired by contouring
trends. I can tell you right now that I'll look like a crazy person if I try to
contour with this. It's far too warm and extremely shimmery. I will, however,
give it a chance as a bronzer. I think where it really shines (har har) is as a
highlighter. This also has an inbuilt mini brush on the other end, making it a
pretty good one for on-the-go application. The one thing that unsettles me
about this is the very strong fragrance. As a sensitive-skinned gal, I'm wary
of anything that is strongly perfumed. Here's to hoping this doesn't irritate
the ol' face!
So there you have it, a few of the beauty bits I'm currently
putting to the test. I'll update you as I go, as per usual and perhaps these
will crop up in a favorites post at some point! Have you tried any of these
products?
Don't forget to follow along!
Ooh the By Terry Glow Stick looks gorgeous, hopefully it doesn't irritate your skin! I haven't tried any of these products, something new to my makeup bag recently is the Whirl lipstick by MAC.

I've wanted to try the NARS concealer out too since everyone loves it and raves about it. Does it work well as a blemish cover up? Thats probably what I would use it for as I find creams work better for my face than under my eyes

That by terry stick is gorgeous! I like how it has a little brush on one end. Hopefully it doesn't irritate your skin since it looks so stunning <3 I've been hearing so many good things about the nars concealer but have had problems with all the other nars base products I've tried :( The coverage does sound impressive though!
