New In: Additions to my Lipstick Stash

At my first day back at work, the floor above us had a beauty sale. I was notified before the mass email was sent out and got to have a root through the goods before all the others stormed upstairs. Long story short, I left with a fair few gorgeous products that I'd picked up for next to nothing. Obviously, I had to pick up a couple of lipsticks too. Dem's the rules. I'm chuffed with my new finds so here I am, ready to lax lyrical about them!

NARS Audacious Lipstick in Bette - Okay, just look at this teeny tiny little mini! How cute is it? We all know I'm a sucker for mini products, so once I picked this up, I sure as heck wasn't putting it back down. Packaging aside, this shade is right up my street. It's a gorgeous deep red with a satin finish. Not the first shade you'd reach for now that we're going into the warmer months, but a classic nonetheless. I absolutely love NARS' Audacious lipstick like and this swatches beautifully. Here's to hoping we have a new favourite on our hands!

YSL Rouge Volupté Tint-In-Balm in 03 - I'm absolutely obsessed with YSL's lip products. They are amongst the most luxurious ones in my collection and there's something about them that just makes them so special! I was so pleased when I found this little gem. I think the design in the product itself is adorable and the shade is a lovely pale pink. It's super subtle, so you can't see much from the swatch, but that makes it a fab one for day-to-day wear. The formula feels light on the lips and is slightly hydrating. Oh and also the packaging. The packaging is just fantastic. The end.

Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Driver's Seat - Does anyone remember me harping on about wanting to find this shade a few months ago? Well I found it! And for an absolute steal too! This colour is just so beautiful. It's a pinky nude with some lovely terracotta-ness to it (I suck at shade descriptions, we know this) and it looks lovely with bronzey skin and minimal eyeshadow. I already own two of the shades from this line, so I know I like the formula. It's a typical matte-drydown liquid lipstick but it doesn't feel as dehydrating on the lips as other matte liquid lips I've tried. They last fantastically throughout the day and are just all-round great. Highly recommend!

From top to bottom: YSL 03, Smashbox Driver's Seat and NARS Bette.
So there we have it, you're all caught up on my most recent lipstick finds. As a lipstick magpie, picking these three up has definitely been a huge success for me and it's always lovely to get your hands on a luxe lipstick without shelling out the cash. Have you bought any new lipsticks lately? Let me know!

Don't forget to follow along!
